But I also have a Xenyx 1002B that still has the PS that came with it. I’m just reporting that via some circuitry vooodoo, this one works as well: I’m not doubting that that the MXU元 works for all the models listed. So I decided to take it apart and check the wiring. The AC voltages between the pins read as follows with my cheap Harbpr Freight multimeter: There’s nothing inside but the transformer coil itself which has 3 leads: BLUE, RED and YELLOW. The pins in the connector, looking at the plug on the end of the power cable from the front: These meters always seem to read voltage over the listed spec, so BLUE to YELLOW is the speced 16VAC. Which posed this question to me: could I power the 502 with just 16VAC between TOP and RIGHT pins? I don’t want to buy a center tapped 36V transformer, as for what that would cost me, I might as well just buy the MXU元. #BEHRINGER EURORACK MX2004A POWER SUPPLY MANUAL#īut I’ve got a couple 16VAC supplies in the junk both, and… bingo spanning the TOP and RIGHT pins does indeed power the mixer, not just the channel mix electronics, but the phantom power as well.
